What Is a Registered Dietitian?
With all of the phony nutrition experts out there, what does it actually mean to be a “registered dietician”? In order to become one, a person must complete, at minimum, a bachelor’s degree, additional accreditation coursework, and an approved dietetic internship. They must also pass a national exam given by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and regularly take continuing education to maintain this credential.
